Use the fine mesh sieve to sift the matcha powder before whisking. This will prevent lumps and ensure a smooth, airy matcha. Gently press the powder through the sieve using the back of a spoon or a mini spatula.

Rinse the tea sifter with warm water after use. Let it dry well to prevent rust formation. For stubborn residues: brush gently, no dishwasher necessary. Can be done!
