
Fluffy Matcha Latte
A silky, creamy matcha latte topped with a fluffy whipped cream topping – the perfect treat for any matcha lover! Enjoy the balance of earthy matcha, creamy milk, and a hint of sweetness.
Supplies:
- 1 teaspoon premium matcha powder
- 60 ml hot water (not boiling, about 80°C)
- 200 ml milk (cow's milk or plant-based, such as oat milk or almond milk)
- 1 tablespoon honey or vanilla syrup (optional)
- Whipped cream (freshly whipped or from a can)
- Optional: matcha powder or grated white chocolate for garnish
Preparation method:
- Sift the matcha powder into a bowl to avoid lumps.
- Add the hot water and whisk with a matcha whisk or milk frother until you have a frothy, smooth matcha.
- Heat the milk and froth it with a milk frother or in a pan.
- Pour the frothed milk into a glass or mug and add the whipped matcha.
- Sweeten to taste with honey or vanilla syrup.
- Pipe a generous dollop of whipped cream on top and sprinkle with a little matcha powder or grated white chocolate for the finishing touch.
